FIFA / Olympic Solidarity Coaching Course Ends

The two- week coaching course organized by the Gambia Football Association in collaboration with the World Football governing body, FIFA, and funded by Olympic Solidarity through the Gambia National Olympic Committee, would wraps up at the National Technical Training Center in Old Yundum.

About 30 coaches from the first division, second and regional teams attended the course which was instructed by Mr. Deltev Bruggemann, a German FIFA course instructor.
During the training course, participants went through both theory and practical sessions.

The closing ceremony is expected to be graced by GFA president Seedy MB Kinteh, officials from GNOC and the department of State for Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs.
Meanwhile, the course made a reference by calling on the Secretary of State for Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs Sheikh Omar Faye on Wednesday.

In the fulfillment of the special relationship between the SOS Children Village and FIFA, the course Director visited the Bakoteh SOS Children village.Both parties hailed the special relation between the two institutions.

In another development over 25 coaches from the Western region benefited from the practical lesion offered by the course director.
