The Senegalese president, Abdoulaye Wade, yesterday told the press that he had a meeting with the former Prime Minister, Idrissa Seck. The meeting, according to President Wade, lasted for four hours at the Presidential Palace in Dakar.
“We trashed out our problems and all the allegations leveled against me by Seck was denied by him. Through our discussion he has now joined the ruling PDS,” President Wade revealed.
Official sources said the two statesmen reconciled through the intervention of Sering Abdoul Aziz Sy (Jr).
The former Prime Minister, Seck, is expected to give an account of his meeting with President Wade to the press today.
