Rhythm has released another premier internet product. A new website located at
www.africanphotos.gm
The new website is a comprehensive, interactive website enabling users to browse, promote and submit geographically indexed photos from around the African continent.
The new website is the latest internet activity website to be released by Rhythm. Initial feedback for the site has been terrific and users are enjoying the high quality photos and interactive promotion system available through the site.
The site has been developed using Microsoft ASP.NET which is the primary development toolset leveraged by Rhythm.
The website is all about the content provided by the users. Anyone who has ever been to Africa, or dreamed of visiting knows the energy pulsing through this vibrant continent.
There are three main activities:
Browse: photos from all the places you've been, want to go, or never knew existed
There are thousands of fascinating high resolution photos available for viewing and downloading on this site. All photos are free to use, share or print. They are indexed hierarchically by location allowing you to journey up the Nile, go on Safari in South Africa or dance with the people in the West.
Promote: photos you find interesting, beautiful or striking
If you see photos you like be sure to promote them! By clicking on "Promote Photo" on the view page you show your support for the photograph and the photographer who took it. Photos which receive many promotions rise to the top and are able to be seen by more users of this site, possibly even rising to be seen on the home page as the current most popular photo in all of Africa. You can promote as many photos as you wish if you are signed in. Each user can promote one particular photo once.
Submit: your photos and share the things you've seen and experienced from around this exciting continent
Photographers of all levels are encouraged to submit their African photos. By submitting your photos to this website you contribute to the entire community and share a piece of your experiences. You also enable other users to view your photography and give you feedback and exposure by promoting your best images.
