The ongoing legal battle over the ownership of Lama Lama Bar and Restaurant between Briam Peters (plaintiff) and Baba Keita (defendant), yesterday suffered yet another setback due to the absence of both counsel.
The plaintiff and defendant were both present while their counsel were reported to be engaged at superior courts.
The case was stood down to 2pm for hearing to enable the counsel to appear but to no avail. Coumba Bala Gaye counsel for the (plaintiff) was said to be at the High Court while Neneh Cham Chongan counsel for the defence was also absent.
Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh then adjourned the case to the 17h of October 2006.
