Ms Ramzia Diab, a former nominated National Assembly Member, who was arrested on 26th October, was on Friday, 10th November released from detention at Mile 2, reliable sources informed this paper.

She was first arrested last March and released on 20th April 2006 in the wake of the March 21st abortive coup.

Meanwhile following the Court Order last Tuesday 7 November that the former Managing Director of NAWEC, Abdou Jobe, be released from detention, his release went for only 48 hours and Mr Jobe was re-arrested on Friday 10 November.
