As part of its 6th anniversary celebration, KMC youth fans club last Sunday held a cleaning exercise (set-settal) campaign from the West field junction to Latrikunda Upper Basic School along Kairaba Avenue.
Speaking to the Daily Observer, Jerreh Sanneh secretary General of the fans club said the exercise is in response to president Jammeh’s call for operation clean the Nation. He called on youths populace of the country to emulate their club in their drive towards contributing to national development.
Ousman Gaye Assistant secretary and public Relations officer of the club described the set-settal as a way of improving the health conditions o the Gambians. He advised members of his club to maintain this good work.
For his part, Pierre Minteh president of the fans club thanked the members of the club for their outstanding contribution towards the development of the nation.
He also appealed to the government to provide them with a mini-bus to transport its members especially the dance group to attend national events.
He went further to thank the NEA for assisting them with cleansing exercise materials to effectively do the work.
Ebrima Janneh youth leader Santa Yallah youth fans club also expressed similar sentiments.
