Cocaine Case to Enter Hearing

The National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA), to be represented by Abdoulie Ceesay, is expected to open its case against one Samuel Nwaiwa for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

Samuel Nwaiwa was lately arraigned before magistrate Edrisa Mbai at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court where he was formally charged with drug trafficking five months after his arrest at the Banjul International Airport.

According to court records, Samuel was arrested at the airport whilst attempting to smuggle 1kg and 42g of cocaine.

He denied responsibility and would undergo trial soon.
