Dan Johanssen, Coordinator of The Gambia Group Pana in Sweden, an organisation that concluded a four-year exchange programme with the Gambia Football Coaches Association, ended his visit in the Gambia.
The exchange programme was made possible through Ebou Ndure former GFA 2nd Vice President, Pa Musa Fofana former Gambian international footballer with Gambia Group Pana.
During his stay in the country, Mr Johanssen expressed satisfaction and was very impressed with the level of Gambian football.
“As part of the exchange programme, Gambian coaches will be in Sweden to train schools, clubs and community and receive allowances,” he highlighted.
Mr Johanssen who was happy with the members of the Gambia Football Coaches Association who returned from Sweden after their two week exchange visit last month said The Gambia Group Pana would be in a position to render any assistance to coaching associations.
He stated that four coaches from Sweden would be coming to The Gambia in December to organize coaching courses for all the members of the GFCA and also football academy coaches.
The Gambia Football Coaches Association as part of the exchange programme presented their Plan of Action and Programme of Activities to the Gambia Group Pana Coordinator.
