A new computer lab worths over D300, 000 has been built at Sanchaba Lower Basic School in Kombo North.

The project was made possible through the efforts of the Headmistress of the school, Isatou Joof Gagigo and S.E.S Trust Fund, a charitable organisation in the UK.

Speaking to the Daliy Observer Mrs, Joof Gagigo said the computer lab has 20 brand new computers, chairs, desks and a projector.

According to her, the project will help to equip students as they will be taught on the use of computers at an early stage, thus preparing them for the challenges ahead.

She paid tribute to the donors- S.E.S Trust Fund, a charitable organisation in the UK for choosing her school among the lot for what she described as a wonderful gesture.

The formal opening of the new lab will take place soon, to be graced by the SoS for Basic Education, Fatou Lamin Faye and SoS For Communications and Information Technology, Neneh Macdouall-Gaye, amongst others.
