Alledged murderer to reappear in court

Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh, of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Monday, adjourned the criminal case involving Tabara Samba, a lady who was alledged to have killed her late husband Ebrima Nyang.

The case could not proceed as the accused lawyer was said to be bereaved.

The matter which was supposed to be heard on Monday could not proceed as the presiding Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh, also informed the court that the police are working on the medical report to continue with the case. Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh then adjourned the case to a fourth night. The alledged murderer was said to have poured hot oil on her Late husband Ebrima Nyang, on Tuesday 6 March, 2007 resulting to his death on Saturday 17 March 2007.

She had since pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against her.
