Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, last Monday sent Sheriff Carl Jallow and Glenn Gibril Jallow, to the Remand Wing of the State Central Prisons, Mile II.

The duos were remanded following their plea of not guilty to charges of being in possession of firearms without authority, contrary to Section 8, of the Arms and Ammunition Act.

They were also charged for forgery, after being found in possession of forged bank notes of US$4, 700, contrary to Section 334 Laws of The Gambia.

Magistrate Jammeh adjourned the case to April 24 for continuation.
