One Nading Fatajo, was on Monday, arraigned before Magistrate Amina Saho-Ceesay of the Bundung Magistrate Court, who was charged for common assault, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.

According to the particulars of the offence, on 26 January 2007 at Tallinding in Kanifing Municipality, Nading Fatajo assaulted one Fatou Colley and subjected her body to beating.

The accused pleaded guilty to the charge, before she was granted bail to the sum of D5, 000 with two Gambia sureties.

Magistrate Saho-Ceesay then adjourned the case to May 8 for judgment. Police Prosecutor 772 Samateh stood in for the IGP.
