The Gambia Football Association (GFA) would from today Monday May 14th host a two week FIFA Olympic Solidarity Intermediate course for coaches at the National Technical Training Center in Yundum.

According to CAF Education Officer, Abdou Salam Jammeh, the course would be instructed by a FIFA Technical Instructor, Detlev Bruggemann from Germany, who arrived in the country on Saturday on board of SN Brussels Airlines.

He added that the course content would involve the principles of teaching and coaching, development of Football techniques and Skills, criteria for Age group training, Physical preparation of young people, to name a few.

"The course would also look at the basic tactics and strategies, coaching methods, use of resources and factors of performance," he concluded.

The president of Gambia Football Association, Seedy MB Kinteh, is expected to deliver the opening ceremony.
