The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) has again made richer a Senegalese fishmonger resident at Brufut in Kombo North.

Mr. Serign Faal made a killing last week after winning the recent GNL Quinte jackpot of D 925,600.  He received last Friday a cheque for the amount won at a presentation ceremony held at company’s headquarters in Banjul.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Marketing Manager of GNL, Fabakary Jammeh, said he was delighted at the jackpot won by Mr. Faal and encouraged customers of the GNL to continue patronising the company.

He said the GNL would continue to implement competent and transparent lottery games to be won by their customers to alleviate poverty in the country, adding that the company also would continue to create employment for especially the youth.

"No stone will be left unturned in the fulfillment of the company’s obligations, as GNL remains ideal to the socio-economic development of the country," he said.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Managing Director of GNL, Mr. Dembo F. Bojang, thanked all their customers and those present at the presentation ceremony for patronising them.

"It is worth recalling that since the inception of the Gambia National Lottery, for almost 12years now, this is the highest jackpot paid to a single winner," he remarked.
