During cross-examination by the Acting Director of Public Presecution, Emmanuel Fagbenle, Mr Dem mainatained that he didn’t know Lamin Cham and had never met him before the March 21 foiled coup plot.

He further told the court that he told the panelist that he had no knowledge about the foiled coup and that was what he told the panelist, and Lamin Cham.

According to him, at the time of the coup he was in the provinces attending a workshop at the Jenoi Farmers Training Centre. Asked whether he knew Alieu Jobe one of the accused persons, Mr. Dem replied in the positive but denied knowing Fatou Jobe and Ousman Badjie but he knew Alagie Gaye.

Asked how many times he met Alieu Jobe before March 21 foiled coup, Mr. Dem said he cannot remember and denied visiting Sokoone.
