The new board of Directors for Barrow Kunda Beakanyang Organization was recently inaugurated at the organization’s main office in Barrow Kunda.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. Tumani Danjo, President of Beakanyang, commended the members for accepting to serve on the board.

For his part, Mr. Nfamara Jawneh the Secretary General and Orphans Care project coordinator of the Beakanyang organization, assured the board of his offices support.

He urged the new board members to work as a team in the execution of their duty so as to promote the ideals of the organization. He informed the board that they have a big role to play.

Mr. Jawneh reaffirmed his organization’s continued commitment to complementing government’s efforts at promoting education, health and agriculture in rural Gambia.

For their parts, the members thanked Beakanyang for the trust and confidence bestowed upon them. They assured the organization that they would live up to expectations.

Meanwhile, the board has Yahya Sumareh as its chairperson, Modou Sidibeh secretary; Sonna Jolly Treasurer. It also has Mrs. Matta Fatty, Mr. Lamin Sisawo, Mr. Saikou Kebbeh Mrs. Dandang York, and Mr. Hamadi Jallow Mrs. Nyama Bah as members.
