The head coach of interior FC Ebrima Manneh, a former Hawks player, said that he is not afraid of Hawks FC but respects them as a big team.

Coach Manneh made this remarks to Pointsports in a telephone interview as they prepared ahead of their league encounter today 26 February 2008, at the Sea view FC football field.

He said, “We respect hawks as a big team. We are not really prepared for the game due to lack of pre-season fitness. We did not take part in either the Km or Banjul preseason tournaments. We were looking for a point from today’s game as it is 90 minutes of play and that is our objective. We have big encounters as all of our four games are big teams, so is just like a preseason for us and we not looking for victory.  We are underdogs,” he said.

It will be recalled that Ebrima Manneh is among the great heroes that made his name at Hawks FC and will face his former team in the GFA first division league at 4:30pm in Bakau at the Sea View FC football field.
