As PS Ebou Joof Retires

Mambanyick Njie, acting Permanent Secretary at the Office of the President, was on Tuesday re-deployed to the Department of State for Youth and Sports as acting Permanent Secretary.

Mr Njie’s re-deployment after a short spell at the President’s Office comes in the wake of the reported retirement of Mr Ebou Joof, former Permanent Secretary at the Department of State for Youth and Sports. When contacted yesterday, Acting PS Njie confirmed his redeployment.

It could be recalled that Mr Njie was appointed deputy Permanent Secretary at the Department of Youth and Sports in 2006 from where he was moved to the Office of the President in January 2008 as acting Permanent Secretary.
