The Secretary-General of Manazamat Al-Dawa Al-Islamia, Sheikh Mohamed Ali Al-Amin will today arrive in The Gambia for a three-day official visit.
According to a press release from the Munazamat Gambia office, Mr Al-Amin will arrive in The Gambia today from Senegal and leave on Wednesday the 12th of March 2008.
Sheikh Mohamed Ali Al-Amin is the Chief Executive of the parent body headquartered in the Republic of Sudan.
Part of his visit, according to the release, is to familiarize himself with Munazamat’s activities within the West African region. This includes activities undertaken by the Munazamat regional office in The Gambia as well as meeting with the relevant authorities in order to solicit the Gambian Government’s support for the regional office in the implementation of its projects.
Mr Al-Amin is also expected visit the Brusubi and Tanjie Mosque projects, Munazamat’s school in Kotu and grace the graduation ceremony of students of Munazamat non-formal Islamic education classes for women.
