Italian giants Inter Milan and English Premier League side Tottenham Spurs are understood to be battling it out for the signature of highly-rated Gambia Under 17 and Real de Banjul striker Ebrima Bojang.
The teenager has caught the eye of several scouts during the just concluded African Under-17 Championships in Algeria, where he helped The Gambia lift the coveted trophy. The 16-year-old striker was exceptionally impressive during the biannual championship, scoring four goals in five matches including the final in which the Baby Scorpions beat hosts Algeria 3-1 to earn The Gambia's second-ever youth nations cup.
Observer Sports understands that Bojang has already been offered a trial at the San Siro by the charismatic Inter Milan coach, Jose Mourinho, while he will also head to Tottenham later this month when visa issues have been resolved.
