The North Bromsgrove High School in the United Kingdom are currently on a two-week visit to Amitage Senior Secondary School in Janjangbureh, Central River Region.

The two schools established links twenty years ago. The delegation were warmly received by their host at a ceremony held at the school grounds in Janjangbureh. During their stay in CRR, the visitors will visit the governor’s office, Regional Education Office in Janjangbureh and the health centre.

According to our Janjangbureh correspondent, the team will also conduct Miss Link Talent Night among others. Welcoming the visitors, the principal of the school, Ebrima M Joof, applauded the North Bromsgrove School for their philanthropic assistance rendered over the years to Armitage school.

He said his school forged this strong link with Bromsgrove back in 1987 and since then, his school has been receiving numerous assistance from Bromsgrove school. He then revealed that during their stay in Janjangbureh, the visitors will conduct many activities including cultural show as well as a trip to the money Safari.

Mike Carrick, the pioneer of the link, thanked the teachers and students of Armitage for their hospitality. He spoke at length on the cordial relationship existing between the two schools and expressed hope that this concrete relationship will be further strengthened.
