Ousman Jatta alias Rambo, an elected Councillor of Old Bakau Ward, is standing charges at the Kanifing Magistrates Court.
Mr Jatta was accused of uttering emotive language on the advent of the Banjul AU Summit in June 2006, and was incarcerated for two weeks before being produced to the courts.
While waiting for his fate, Mr. Jatta was whisked away from his office in Cape Point on the 23rd September 2006. Yet still no one can tell his whereabouts.
Mr Jatta’s case resumed yesterday 14th September 2006 but the court did not sit.
The disappearance of Rambo has added more procrastination to the proceedings.
Where ever his whereabouts, the Court has earlier ordered for the prosecution to produce him in court.
Mr Jatta’s case is expected in the courts again on 6th of December, 2006.
