Wallidan have put behind their Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat in the hands of Sea View with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Bakau United in a fiercely competed match played at Serrekunda West Mini-stadium on Sunday. Wallidan came from behind to snatch their first three points of the season.
Bakau United who drew their debut match against Biko first opened the scoring in the early minute. However their jubilation was short-live when Wallidan leveled the scores moments later.
Fresh from break, Wallidan doubled the advantage sealing the match at 2-1.
Wallidan next fixture will see them lock horns with the league leaders, Real de Banjul on Thursday while Bakau United face Sait Matty tomorrow.
