Wallidan beat Real de Banjul 1-0 to share top spot in the GFA League last night.
Pa Modou Ngum’s brace in the 20th minute was enough to give Wallidan the all three points ending Real de Banjul’s hundred percent starts to the season. The two sides now tie at six points apiece in three games.
Elsewhere, Armed Forces lost 1-0 to Gamtel in their last night fixture played at the Banjul Mini-stadium.
Week Three fixtures will resume today with Sait Matty meeting Bakau United at Serrekunda West Mini-stadium. Sea View will also lock horns with Gambia Ports Authority at Serrekunda East Mini-stadium today. Steve Biko’s fixture against Hawks today has been shifted to Sunday, March 25 at Banjul Mini-stadium.
