Gambia Ports Authority secured their first three points of the season after a 2-1 victory over Steve Biko in their Saturday’s fixture played at Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
Ports Authority came from behind and snatched the winner before finishing the game on 10-man.
Yankuba Badjie, commonly known as Yanker, converted a spot kick to put Biko forward before Ports’ Haji Tunkara capitalised on a defensive mixed up to level the scores in the second interval.
Ports Authority, who was last month eliminated from the CAF Champions’ League competition by Nasarawa United of Nigeria, was assured of victory when they converted a late controversial penalty to seal the game at 2-1. Saturday’s fixture was Steve Biko’s third match with no win.
