Wallidan Chase Top Position

Thursday, April 5, 2007
The “ Blue Boys” of Wallidan FC would be looking for the top spot of the ongoing GFA first division league when they face Africell/ Sait Matty today at the Serekunda West min stadium in the week five fixtures.

Wallidan, second with nine points plus one, would over take Real De Banjul, first with nine points plus two, if they come out victorious today against Sait Matty FC.

Real De Banjul, who are league leaders on goal difference, would not be in action in the week Five as their opponents, Armed Forces, have been given a bye by GFA for their engagement in the ongoing WALO Championship.

But Sait Matty, third with six points plus one, would also come out in full force, trying to close the gap on Wallidan.

In today’s second game, the Bakau giant Steve Biko FC, 8th with two points, would lock horns with Gamtel FC, 6th with four points and menus two.

On Thursday April 5th, 2007, Defending Champions, GPA FC, 7th with three points, would be taking on struggling Bakau United, 10th with one points, at the Banjul Mini Stadium while Hawks FC, 5th with four points plus one, battle it out against Seaview, 4th with six points and goal different zero, at the Serekunda West Mini Stadium.
