Police win May Day Sports

The Gambia Police Force have been crowned the winners of the seventh edition of annual May Day Sports that was organised by the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC)

The Police proved they are not only good in policing the nation but also in sports by beating 52 other companies to finish on top on 88 points.
Their sister-department, The Gambia Immigration Department finished second on 80 points. The third position was grasped by the Gambia Prison Department on 74 points.

Gambia Armed Forces retained the popular Tug of War title in addition to their sixth position.
The Most Disciplined side award went to the newly established department, The Gambia Revenue Authority while Standard Charted Bank won the Best Dress Award. Crafted Yahya Manneh helped Gambia Fire and Ambulance Service’s grapped the Grease Pole title.
