The Interior football teams in both male and female categories have commended partners in sports development after their successful performance in the 2006/7 Gambia Football Association league.

The Interior Male football team gained promotion to the first division while the female side claimed the Gambia Football Association first Division female league title.

The Interior Football team (Male & Female) wishes to extend its profound gratitude and appreciation to all its supporters who in one way or the other contributed towards their Promotion to the first Division and the triumph of the Female team in emerging the first Division league winners of the Gambia Football Association 2006/7 season.

Our special regards goes to H.E the President of the Republic of the Gambia and Commander in Chief of Gambia Armed Forces Alh. Dr. Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh for his profound and overwhelming supports.
Also we wish to thank the Secretary of State for Interior Hon. Ousman Sonko, the Inspector General of Police Mr. Benedict Jammeh and the entire senior management of the Gambia Police Force and all service chiefs under Interior.
