WAF Gives 700,000 to SOS Children’s Village

The West Africa Foundation (WAF) recently presented a cheque for 700,000 Dalasi to the SOS Children’s Village in Bakoteh Village in Kanifing Municipality. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Director Mrs. Fatou Mass Jobe commended the management of the SOS Children’s Village for their tremendous contribution towards the development of education n The Gambia. She expressed optimism that they would continue to give more support to SOS Children’s Village in the future. Receiving the cheque, a representative from the SOS Children’s Village Mrs. Hannah Davis, thanked WAF for the support given to the Children’s Village. She revealed that the support would greatly aid the village in their endevours and in realising their aims, dreams and objectives. She called on other donors to emulate the gesture.
