Coach Alhagi Sarr who inspired the Ports Authority side to claim the Super Cup title over Hawks on Saturday said he was very delighted with the victory. He said Saturday’s triumph landed him his tenth title as a coach, saying he is delighted with the development.

“I am very happy that I have won the Super Cup title again. This is my tenth title in my coaching career and it will surely pave me the way to aim more titles in the near future coach Sarr told Observer Sports, shortly after the final whistle on Saturday.

Sarr and Ports Authority have been pushed to tighter corner in CAF Champions' League second round after 3-0 defeat in the first leg encounter played in Nigeria. But coach Alhaji Sarr remained optimistic that his side would overturn the three goals deficit in the return leg in Banjul next weekend.

"If we can concede three goals in Nigeria, we can also score the same number of goals and even more at home. And this Super Cup title will admittedly serve as a springboard for the team,2 ahead of next weekend encounter in Banjul,” said coach Sarr who had played a professional football in Germany before hanging his boots in mid 90s and opts for coaching career.
