Friday, January 25, 2008

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL) has put up a brand new car raffle for their customers.

This was reveal by the company’s auditor, Tapha Sonko, last Friday during a presentation ceremony of four cheques amounting to D52,000 for four lucky winners.

He said that GNL has a series of interventions towards contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

Mr Fabakary Jammeh, GNL Marketing Manager, said that the company on a daily basis distributes nothing less than D150,000 to its customers country-wide. This, he added, would no doubt contribute to poverty alleviation in this country. “Creating employment for youths is the company’s top priority,” he said.

The winners Toma Badgie, Matar Ceesay, Pandisa Henry Moae and Ekudyd Smart who won twice, were each given D22,660.00.
