Brikama Travel Agency, a new travel agency in The Gambia, was recently inaugurated in Brikama at a colourful ceremony attended by representatives from renowned sister travel agencies in The Gambia.

Speaking at the ceremony, Christopher Alright alias Muhammad, proprietor of Brikama Travel Agency, said the establishment of the agency was in recognition of the need to set up a business, the proceeds of which will be used to assist less privileged students and the needy in The Gambia.

Mr Alright added that air tickets to any destination in the world will be available at his agency.

“Brikama Travel Agency will seek to reduce the burden of paying fares to Serrekunda and Banjul to buy airtickets,” he said.

Mr Alright then urged people to embrace the agency as their own.

Sainbou Faal, deputy governor of Western Region said the creation of the agency is a milestone and a remarkable achievement in the history of Brikama and Western Region as a whole.

Deputy Governor Faal expressed profound gratitude to Mr Alright, saying that the travel agency is in line with The Gambia government’s policies and the Millennium Development Goals.
