The trial of Lamin Jabang, Bakary Manneh and Abdou Salam continued on Monday of last week at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.
The trio is being tried for house breaking and stealing; allegations they deny.
In his testimony in the case, the first prosecution witness, Omar Njie, told the court that it was in June of last year at 3am when his son informed him that his back door was broken.
“ I later realised that my DVD player, radio cassette player, mobile phone and wallet containing D500 and documents were missing. I reported the matter to the police and upon subsequent investigations, the three accused persons were arrested,” he added.
The case, presided over by magistrate John Njie, continues today.
