One Buba Sanneh, an employee of the Sonko Jileng Enterprise in Brikama, was on Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates Court charged with theft.

According to the particulars of the offence, Buba Sanneh, on the 6th of October, 2008, stole the sum of D66,533 from Sonko Jileng Enterprise in Brikama.

Buba Sanneh pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Upon his plea of not guilty to the charge, Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh issued a bail bond for the accused in the sum of D70,000, with a Gambian surety with the like amount, who must swear to an affidavit.

The case was adjourned to the 22nd October, 2008, for the witnesses begin testifying.
