Kalilou Conteh, a native of Baddibou Conteh Kunda, was yesterday brought to the Bundung Magistrates’ Court where he was formally charged with murder.

According to particulars of the offence, Kalilou sometime last year murdered one Mariama Camara by hitting her with a stick on the head.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge and is expected back in court on 16 January.

Meanwhile, he was returned to the State Central Prison till the resumption of the matter.

The case was chaired by magistrate Kumba Sillah whilst the IGP was represented by 772 Samateh.
