The man, who went on an unholy expedition to the residence of a female lawyer in Cape Point sometime last month, was early this week at Kanifing Magistrates’ Court where he was convicted and sentenced.
Ebrima Bah was fined D1000 in default to serve six months in prisons after admitting responsibility for stealing the DVD player of lawyer Kombeh Gaye in Bakau.
Meanwhile, his alleged confederate in crime, Yakub Gaye, is expected to reappear before magistrate Mbacke for allegedly receiving the stolen DVD player of Ms. Gaye, knowing or having a reason to believe that it was stolen.
He was however given bail in the sum of D20,000 to enable him gain his liberty as the case continues.
