Dr. Huang Meets Jammeh Foundation for Peace CEO

The visiting Taiwanese doctor, a cardiologist, in the person of Dr. David Huang from the University of Rochester Medical Centre US accompanied by Mr. Christ Kelley Vice President and General Manager ANKON Technology yesterday had an audience with the Chief Executive Officer of Jammeh Foundation for Peace Mr. Ansumana Jammeh at his office in Churchill’s Town. The meeting was also graced by the Taiwanese Ambassador to The Gambia Dr. Patrick Chang.  

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Huang expressed gratitude to the Gambian people for their warm welcome and hospitality saying, “Gambian people are very friendly wherever we go people receive us nicely”.

For his part, CEO Jammeh thanked the team for their initiative that is by providing free medical service to Gambian people. According to Mr. Jammeh his office receives applications for overseas treatment every day and that if they have the equipment and personnel to offer such treatments in the country would definitely help greatly.

For his part. Mr Kelley gave informed CEO Jammeh about their mission to the country. That is to provide free medical care to Gambians, community services such as painting of police stations, prisons and presentation of gifts to schools among others. “We appreciate you for opening your doors for us”.

Speaking earlier, ambassador Chang encouraged the Jammeh Foundation for Peace Hospital and University of Rochester Medical Centre in US to forge a link for a mutual benefit.
