Lady Njaimeh Jawara, a keen golfer, hosted a three-club stableford competition on Saturday at Fajara Golf Club. 23 golfers took part in the tournament which started in a grand style after a few words of wisdom from the captain, Vimal Shah.
After a fiery encounter, Carl Jensen finished at the top in the Men’s category with 34 stableford points while Paul Knight finished hot on his heel with 33 points.

Susana Lanfermeijer was the Queen in the Ladies’ category after pulling 32 points while Lind Larnach came out second with 31 points. Carl Jensen was awarded Lady Njaime Jawara trophy for being the overall winner. Shortly after the tournament, there was a presentation at the 19th hole where lucrative prizes were presented to the various winners.
The golf captain, Vimal Shah, thanked Lady Njaimeh Jawara for hosting the tournament.
