The most awaited Nawettan final in Farafenni is finally scheduled to take place on Saturday November 18th, 2006 at the Olympic Mini-Stadium in Farafenni.

The final would be between the Lions of Africell and The AFPRC General Hospital FC.

The final is expected to draw many soccer fans from Farefenni and surrounding villages.

Both teams have put up good performances during the nawettan championship and more is expected from them on Saturday 18.

The final is expected to be graced by officials from the Gambia National Insurance Company Limited [GNIC] as sponsors.

Speaking to Pointsports, Africell FC secretary General, Alkali Dampha, expressed hope that his team would come out victorious in the final.

He called on all soccer fans to come out in their number to attend the final for the advancement of Football in Farafenni.
