Late Pa Jobe Football Club were winners of the 2007 Western Union-sponsored Gunjur league championship last weekend.

They made it after beating Cathy FC 2-1 at the Gunjur football field.

Dawda Ndoye alias Zidane opened the scores for the Late Pa Jobe FC after twenty minutes of play.
In the 30th minute, Buba Sanyang leveled the scores for Cathy FC, and Late Pa Jobe FC came back in the 76th minute through Kebba Jobe to seal the 2-1 victory.

The lion’s share went to Late Pa Jobe FC who received a giant trophy and cash prize of D15, 000 while Cathy FC went home with D10, 000.
