Gunjur Upper Basic School Sports Committee Honours Dado Touray

The organising committee of Gunjur Upper Basic School sports have awarded Dado B Touray as the Most Outstanding Athlete in the 2008 Gunjur Upper Basic inter-house Athletic Competition. Dado B Touray speaking to Pointsport expressed delight with the award and commended her House Master Mr. Sanyang for his valuable contribution to her career. She revealed that for the past few years she has received many certificates and prizes. “I intend to make athletics my career and would welcome any assistance from individuals or donors to help in realising my dream,” she explained. She expressed delight to be representing her school in the forthcoming Gambia upper Basic Schools inter-schools Championship. Dado B Touray is a grade 8 pupil of the school.
