The 2006/2007 League Champions Real de Banjul will meet FA cup winners GPA on Friday in the Super Cup Final of The Gambia Football Association.

The Super Cup Final will pave the way for the commencement of the league, which will kick off on Sunday.

However, following the increment of the national first division teams from 10 to 12, 66 matches will be played in eleven weeks as part of the 2007/8 season.

In the week one matches, Armed forces will take on Sea View at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium on Sunday February 24th 2008, while the Bakau United and Samger clash, scheduled for the same day, will kickoff at Serrekunda East.

On Tuesday Hawks will take on Interior at the Sea View Field in Bakau.

Gamtel will meet league champions, Real de Banjul at Serrekunda West on Wednesday.

GPA will take on Africell/S/Matty the same day. Finally Wallidan will lock horns with Steve Biko at the Sea View Field on Thursday February 28 2008.
