Judgement Expected in Tabara Samba’s Case Today

Thursday, September 27, 2007

Judgement is expected to be handed down today at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court in the long-drawn out case involving Tabara Samba, a Senegalese national, who allegedly murdered her husband Ebrima Nyan after pouring hot oil on him some time in March this year.

The accused person’s fate will be balanced on the scale of justice as Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh delivers judgement.

It could be recalled that among the many twists to the case was the withdrawal of two defence counsels from the case. Also, the presiding magistrate at one time issued warning to relatives of the deceased to desist from using abusive language against the accused while court was in session.
