Nicola Sambou, an inhabitant of Kunkujang Mariama, early this week made startling revelations at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court when he startlingly informed the court that he has been subjected to a mob justice and buried neck-deep in the residence of the Alkalo of Mariama Kunda.
Nicola is charged with stealing the wallet of a certain Bakary Sambou also a resident of Mariama Kunda but has denied the allegation when he was arraigned before magistrate Edrissa Mbai on Monday.
In his first court appearance, Nicola told the court that when he was apprehended on suspicion of stealing a wallet, he was beaten up by a group of youths before being buried neck-deep in the compound of the Mariama Kunda Alkalo.
The case resumes August 24th for hearing.
