Lamin Resident’s Trial Dealt Another Blow

Tuesday, October 30, 2007

The trial of one Lamin Jarju currently underway at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court was dealt yet another blow.

Lamin was formally charged for being found in possession of a rubber stamp, posing as the Alkalo of Lamin Babylon ward and in the knowledge that he wasn’t.

Meanwhile, the case was last week expected to proceed before magistrate Edrisa Mbai but was once again adjourned when the presiding magistrate was informed by the defense counsel, Borry Touray that his client could not make it to the court as he was reported to be unwell.
