‘Strive Harder to Maintain Discipline’

The Secretary of State for Information, Communication and Technology, Hon. Neneh Macduall-Gaye, has admonished the outgoing students of St. Peters Senior Secondary to strive harder to maintain discipline as well as to strive harder to project the image of their alma mater in the best ambassadorial sense.

Secy Macduoll-Gaye also urged the students to take favourable advantage of the educational opportunities available in the country.

Speaking at the 27th graduation ceremony of St. Peters Senior Secondary School in Lamin, the information secretary of state advised students to enroll in tertiary institutions such as UTG and the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI).

She thanked the Catholic Mission for their effort in improving the school.

In his report, Fr. Bruno Toupan, the Principal of St. Peters, stated that the school had a student population of 1,171 and 52 staves. He expressed satisfaction in the performance of students in the 2006-2007.
