Adama Sanyang, a resident of Bundung is in dire need of help to undergo medical treatment overseas.
Adama was treated at the Medical Research Council (MRC) and received several blood transfusion, folic acid and B12 Vitamin therapy without response. Bone Marrow Aspiration done in August 2006 confirmed a pancytopenia with integrity of haematopocitics systems and megaloblastic changes. ‘To rule out chronic haemolytic anaemia or folic acid B/12 vitamin dificiency it was then suggested a bone marrow biospsy,’ the report stated.
The medical report added that in October 2006, he was referred to the RVTH and Adama Sanyang presented with pallor, fever, severe weakness and often collapse. Adama’s health is currently in worst condition with recurrent and more frequent blood transfusions and infections.
