Two Alleged Drug Traffickers Due in Court Soon

Musa Badjie and Momodou Sallah are expected to reappear before magistrate Edrisa Mbai early next month for the opening of their trial.

The duo was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in contravention of section 43 (4) E of the Drug Control Act.

It would be recalled that Musa Badjie was in November of last year arrested in Tallinding and allegedly in possession of 132kg and 500g of cannabis sativa.

Meanwhile, Momodou Sallah was arrested at Kanfenda police checkpoint in ‘possession’ of four cartons, containing marijuana.

They all pleaded not guilty to the charges and are expected back in court on November 8.
