Two Guinean nationals remanded at Mile 2

Abdou Bangura and Gibbi Jallow, both Guinean nationals were on Monday April 16, remanded at the State Central Prison by Magistrate Amina Saho-Ceesay of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court after pleading not guilty to charges of violating section 285 (c) of the Criminal Code.

According to the particulars of the offence, the two on December 27, 2006 at Bundung Borehole, in the Kanifing Municipality were found in possession of breaking implements at night without lawful excuses, which had led to the suspicion that they were with those instruments for unlawful purpose.

However, the case was adjourned to 2nd May for Prosecutor Corporal 772 Samateh to open his case while the two accused were remanded in Mile II pending hearing of the case.
