Ebrima Manneh has won the Coach of the Year of the 2007 National Sports Journalist Award held at the Kairaba Beach Hotel on 26 December 2007. He was short-listed alongside Peter Bonu Johnson and Alhagie Sarr.

EDUCATION

Hailed from Basse in the Upper River Region. He attended Koba Kunda Primary School and Nusrat High School.

Activities in School

Athletics: Sprinter 100 and 200m, High Jump, and Long Jump. He was captain of the intermediate and senior football teams at Nusrat High School. Gained recognition after finishing school through Nawettan competitions before joining Hawks F C

Won many league and knock-out titles with many Nawettan teams as a coach and a player.

Won two out of three Zonal Finals.

Promoted Samger to the Second Division and eventually to the First Division GFA League.

Coached the GFA Second Division Team Interior FC to win the Division Two League, and promoted to Division One.
